I would like to hear from those who own a rooftop rod carrier. I’m thinking about buying one that holds 3 or 4 rods. What’s your take on the brand and model you have and the pros and cons of it. Appreciate any advice you want to share. Thanks!
Been seeing several videos on tying jig and balanced flies for mainly leeches, buggers , etc. I was wondering if they are that much better than similar patterns on the standard hook? I mainly fish west side lakes for trout and sometimes bass. Thanks Dr Bob :)
Greetings. I am in the market for a good fast action 8 wt. salmon/steelhead rod and am considering a closeout Xi2. I know this rod was really popular a couple years ago, and wondered if it has a loyal following. I am sure that the Xi3 is an improvement, but I am not willing to spend $700 on a...

At the end of the day any boat is a compromise. That being said, I just got a new Kodiak with the Fly Fishing Show discount to replace my 20+ year old Water Master with the updated Kodiak design. I love the design evolution - especially the pointed stern and bow which I think makes the boat row 25-35% more efficiently.
